Our vision at Christian Tabernacle Church, DoncasterOur vision is to live transformed lives and thereby reflect God’s lamp for man’s light so that those who live in darkness may see the light. To accomplish this we will strive to live in accordance with the standard of God’s word; evangelise, train and equip disciples of Jesus who shall also teach others to do the same. 
a) Train disciples to train others also. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others (2 Timothy 2:2). b) Reflect God’s light. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18). ... we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God (2 Corinthians 4:2). ..."I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."(John 8:12 NIV). |
